Terms of Service & Institutional Agreement

Institutional terms of service, SLA commitments, acceptable use policy, and licensing terms for EduOS Cloud platform.

1. Scope of Agreement

These Terms of Service govern the access and use of the EduOS Cloud operating system, including web applications, iOS and Android mobile apps, APIs, and associated support services provided to schools, colleges, universities, and coaching academies.

2. Data Ownership & Portability

The Institution retains 100% ownership of all academic, student, staff, fee, and administrative data entered into EduOS Cloud. EduOS does not claim any intellectual property or proprietorship over customer data.

Institutions can export their complete database in standard Excel or CSV formats at any time without fees, penalties, or artificial delays.

3. Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Uptime

EduOS Cloud commits to providing a 99.9% monthly service uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance windows announced at least 72 hours in advance during non-academic hours (typically 01:00 AM - 04:00 AM IST).

4. Free Core ERP Guarantee

EduOS guarantees that core SIS, attendance, fee collection, and report card modules will remain available at ₹0 software license cost for registered educational institutions, financed through our payment infrastructure partnerships and optional enterprise consulting services.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

Institutions agree to use EduOS Cloud solely for lawful educational purposes. Users are prohibited from reverse engineering the platform, attempting unauthorized security penetration testing without prior written permission, or transmitting harmful computer code.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India.
