Key Commitment: EduOS Cloud uses only strictly essential cookies necessary for secure authentication, CSRF session protection, and system load balancing. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or behavioral monitoring tools.
1. What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile device when you access our cloud platform and mobile application services.
2. Types of Cookies We Use
- Authentication Cookies: Identify your logged-in administrator, teacher, or parent session securely and prevent unauthorized account access.
- Security & CSRF Tokens: Protect against Cross-Site Request Forgery and malicious automated bot submissions.
- Interface Preferences: Preserve your preferred language, active academic term filter, or theme choices.
3. Prohibited Tracking Practices
In strict compliance with Section 9(3) of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act 2023), EduOS explicitly disallows:
- Third-party ad network pixels (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google AdSense)
- Cross-device student tracking or profiling
- Commercial data selling to marketing brokers
4. Managing Your Preferences
You can adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Note that disabling strictly essential authentication cookies will prevent you from logging into your campus portal.
